St. Louis Mystery Company to Perform in Hannibal

On September 3, 2017, the St. Louis Mystery Company will perform the world premiere of a brand new audience participation mystery event, “The Great Airship Race Murder”.  Set in 1898, the mystery involves the death of two of the entrants in the cross country airship race. Sable Coates and Rose Busch were overdue on the first leg of the race and their airship, “Glow Worm”, was found crashed in the river near Hannibal.   There will be many clues and revelations before the mystery can finally be solved.  The mystery will be performed twice on September 3 at 2:30 and 6:00PM.

The mystery is part of the weekend event known as “The Big River Steampunk Festival”.   The admission charge for the mystery event is $12 per person.  Reservations and additional information on the weekend event can be found by visiting the Big River website at:

Dan McGee will playing the role of “Happy Landon”, a government official and member of the Zeppelin League who has been sent to solve the murders.  With him will be Theresa Droegkamp in the role of “Ashen Nightshade” a woman of mystery.

McGee is also the author of the mystery and has written forty murder mysteries and participated in more than 1700 of them.  The St Louis Mystery Company may be found on Facebook.
